Miranda Lambert added to list of Grammy performances

Miranda Lambert will perform at next month’s Grammy Awards in Los Angeles.

The country music star — who is nominated for Best Female Vocal Country Performance for “The House That Built Me,” Best Country Album for “Revolution” and Best Country Collaboration With Vocals for her work with Dierks Bentley and Jamey Johnson on “Bad Angle” — will join a roster of already announced stars including Arcade Fire, EminemCee Lo GreenLady GaGa and Katy Perry.

It’ll mark 27-year-old Lambert’s first ever performance at the ceremony, which will air live on Feb. 13 on CBS.

Lambert — who got engaged to fellow crooner Blake Shelton in May last year — recently revealed she’s looking forward to walking down the aisle.

“I’m looking forward to getting married and just doing it, ya know? … We’ve been engaged six months now already, and it’s kind of flown by, but just taking that next step and kind of becoming a woman and moving on in life,” she said.

Shelton said he’s letting Lambert do all the planning.

“Last I heard [the wedding date] was in the spring, but that’s a constantly changing event,” he said.

“Miranda is going to do this exactly how she wants to do it and I’m staying the hell out of the way.”
