If you are like me, and God help you if you are, then you do not really have much to look forward to in the winter post New Year’s. Sure you ladies have Valentine’s and college students have St. Patrick’s, but for most of us it is a lot of Netflix and sweaters. Make this year different with a little help from Luke Bryan.
The Crash My Playa concert vacation is returning January 22-26 in Riviera Maya, Mexico. The event is a 4 night all inclusive country vacation concert experience. Basically a big party on the beach hosted by Luke Bryan, and just to sweeten the pot Luke has added his buddy Dierks Bentley as a headliner.
The breakdown is as such. Two nights of headlining performances by Luke, a third night with Dierks, and a fourth evening with an undetermined country superstar, on a stage erected mere feet from the Caribbean Sea. The shows will take place at the Barcelo Riviera Maya which is one of the resorts available for booking.
Along with the main shows fans will be treated to poolside acoustic sessions from country artists, an exclusive high-end experience, 24hr concierge, amenities and accommodations, as well as special merchandise packages.
Reservations can be booked with a paltry $500 down payment followed by seven installments. Sounds like it may be a bit above the pay scale for Luke Bryan fans, but this lowly writer is officially jealous. An exclusive party on the beach with live music from country music’s top names? Sure beats the hell out of scarves and pea coats.
Tickets are on sale now at crashmyplaya.com. So skip the decorations and presents this year and treat yourself. Go get drunk on a beach.

Looks like a signal to me.ReeL, thknas – there will be a short “pilot comic adventure” of sorts very soon (next month). Just a few pages but they include key aspects of the whole StarDucks universe. I will keep you updated about this, here.
That kind of thinking shows you’re on top of your game
Furrealz? That’s marvelously good to know.
That’s a mold-breaker. Great thinking!
I disagree that historical characters necessarily speak formally. It might sound formal to us, but slang has been around since the beginning of language. Shakespeare used slang, curse words have been around forever, and illiterate peasants hardly spoke in formal proper sentences even in 1400.
