ACM Nominee Thomas Rhett Releases Upbeat Breakup Anthem

The ACM nominess have been announced and it isn’t surprising that Thomas Rhett has earned himself a nomination for ACM New Artist of the Year. Rhett emerges as Billboard’s first male country artist to gain three #1 hits from a debut album in over 20 years with the release of the upbeat breakup anthem “Crash And Burn.”

The track showcases Rhett’s unique take on country music while at the same time combining the “vintage Motown, R&B vibes” says Rolling Stone and “serious soul power” by CMT.

Available at Country Radio, fans can also pick up the lead single on iTunes now.

“The first time I heard this song, I immediately loved the paradox of how happy it sounds even though the lyrics are about a guy who loses out in love,” said Thomas Rhett. “It’s also definitely one of the most vocally challenging songs I’ve ever recorded. But, for the new album I really wanted to try new things, to stretch myself and explore that side of my sound.”

Thomas Rhett leads the forefront of the new wave of young country singers as one of country music’s influential new artists. He has proven himself to be a natural leader, earning ‘New Artist of the Year’ nominations from both the CMA and the upcoming 50th Annual ACM Awards on April 19th, where he will also be performing.

Fans can catch Thomas Rhett on tour with Florida Georgia Line’s “Anything Goes Tour 2015.” He will also be the headliner in select markets throughout the year.
