Capitol Records Nashville recording artist Luke Bryan releases the official music video for “Buzzkill”, a new single penned for Luke’s spring break series and available on the compilation CD, “Spring Break – Here to Party”, available at iTunes and in party packs from Luke himself.
Luke Bryan has just wrapped up and sobered up from Spring Break in Florida where he spent two days performing live before a crowd of 120,000 fans that swarmed Spinnaker’s in Panama City Beach, Florida, leaving what appears to be not even room for an additional grain of sand to squeeze in.
And while Luke was busy fulfilling his hard-earned role of bona-fide party animal, firing up the crowd of hard working collegiate spring breakers celebrating their yearly entitled semester break, Luke’s spring break compilation CD, “Spring Break – Here to Party” debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Top 200 chart, earning Luke his first #1 album on Billboard’s chart. “Spring Break – Here to Party” is the first full-length physical album released from Luke’s five-year “Spring Break” series. The 14-track album features two new tracks as well as a collection of songs from his previously released digital “Spring Break” EPs.
Included in those two new tracks released on the 14-track spring break compilation CD, “Spring Break – Here to Party”, is the single “Buzzkill”. Party animal Luke Bryan drops it down a bit in tempo and mood in “Buzzkill” but still delivers its message straight up with:
“so why you showing up here on my side of the tracks // slipping in this bar just to check out where I’m at …
cos you’re a buzzkill every time you come around // those beers might as well have been poured out…
you walk right by crashin my high like I know you will // you little buzzkill.”
