TAYLOR SWIFT ANNOUNCES THE 1989 WORLD TOUR

The seven-time Grammy winner Taylor Swift announced Monday morning on Good Morning America, just days after performing an larger-than-life concert in Times Square to over 20,000 fans, The 1989 World Tour, which will kick off in Louisiana on May 20, 2015. The tour will be produced and promoted by AEG Live and the Messina Group (TMG) and will hit North America and Europe before heading to Australia in December 2015.

Australian singer-songwriter Vance Joy, whose hit song “Riptide” was recently covered by Taylor, will be supporting all North American dates as well as Shawn Mendes joining the tour for select performances. The 1989 World Tour will include eight countries and cover four continents including North America, Europe, Australia and Asia. The first tickets for the North American shows will go on-sale to the general public on November 14. General ticketing and on-sale information will be available at www.TaylorSwift.com. Best of all, Swift’s biggest fans will have the opportunity to get their tickets early! Pre-sales for her North America shows start on November 7. (See the event’s page for details)
