Irving Plaza proves to be the appropriate setting for the album release show, in a more intimate way yet still spirited than the seven arenas lined up for the rest of his tour.
“I am so excited to be getting this new music out to my fans and cannot wait to be on stage and enjoy the album release night with them!” Bryan writes in a statement.
“Kill The Lights” is the follow up to Bryan’s very successful, “Crash My Party”. The reigning ACM and CMA Entertainer of the Year has landed 13 singles at #1 and sold over 7.5 million albums in addition to 30 million digital tracks downloaded. He is currently on his “Kick the Dust Up” tour and will continue through October, which is also the title of the first single from the new album. Pre-order Kill the Lights on Amazon or iTunes.
‘Kick the Dust Up’ isn’t indicative of everything on [Kill the Lights],” Bryan told Rolling Stone Country earlier this summer. “The main thing is ‘Kick the Dust Up’ gets it goin’, gets it rockin’. It’s a big, fun, summer, outdoorsy anthem.”
Bryan has been crossing the country on his 2015 Kick the Dust Up Tour, which heads to Pittsburgh this weekend, followed by shows in Oregon and Georgia. A list of dates is available on his website.
