Kylie Minogue’s new album ‘Golden’ (out April 6th on BMG) is both a celebration of life and reflection upon it, at times “euphoric” (Rolling Stone) and at times, as Minogue puts it, “rock bottom.”
In a new interview with Rolling Stone, the Australian pop star dives into a two-week sojourn to Nashville and its “altar” of music, Dolly Parton, line dancing, and subverting pop song conventions on new single “Dancing”.
Minogue’s willingness to reinvent sonically has placed her in the pantheon of global pop, and ‘Golden’ represents yet another pillar in the singer’s diverse career.
