Powerhouse Country and Americana artist Crystal Yates debuted her new video for her hit single “Hell On My Soul” recently on The Boot.
For years, I had struggled with temporary fixes that left me broken and more empty. My [hope] with this song and video is to expose struggles, in the light of day, to promote true healing that comes from a place of love and grace … for yourself and others,” Yates tells The Boot. “In the safety of love, grace and the desire to change is where I find true healing.”
“Hell On My Soul” comes from her third album, “The Other Side” which is now available on iTunes. “The Other Side”, showcases her powerhouse vocals; she combines soul, country, roots and rock.
The Other Side, derives from Crystal’s journey to take control of her health and manage her battle with weight. Crystal Yates and her multi-instrumentalist husband, Will Yates, began recording The Other Side early January 2016, nearly eight years after she first diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes.
Crystal Yates is currently on tour promoting the release of her newest album.
