Kacey Musgraves Teams Up With Disney On “Spoonful Of Sugar” Cover

Kacey Musgraves has teamed up with Disney to lend her vocals and charmingly unique style to help with the upcoming “We Love Disney” compilation, which is due out Friday, October 30th.

Kacey was given the task to cover the Disney classic “Spoonful of Sugar” from “Mary Poppins.” Kacey and her band do an outstanding job adding their own take on the original and adding some western flare and their own country charm to the song.

It’s kind of this really fun western swing, like very Disney. There’s bird whistling and it’s so fun. It was one of the funnest things. I do love getting outside of my world and stepping into a challenge like that,” Kacey told SPIN about the project this summer.

We Love Disney” will also feature Jason Derulo, Gwen Stefani, Tori Kelly and more. The album also features a rendition of “It’s a Small World” performed by all of the artists. Check out the complete track listing below.
