World-Renowned Stagecoach Festival Recruits Old Dominion For Inaugural Stagecoach Spotlight Tour

Old DominionThe world-renowned ‘Stagecoach Festival’ hails Old Dominion for its inaugural ‘Stagecoach Spotlight Tour’…Old Dominion, a road-built band who has performed more than 200 dates over the last calendar year, surprised fans this morning with the announcement of over 30 new shows from coast-to-coast on their Fall “Meat and Candy Tour” with special guest Steve Moakler

Fourteen of the 2016 dates will be billed as the “Stagecoach Spotlight: Old Dominion Meat and Candy Tour”, as the five-piece band is the first act selected by producers of the award-winning Stagecoach Festival for the inaugural Stagecoach Spotlight Tour.

Stagecoach Spotlight Tour allows us to continue and strengthen artist relationships outside of a festival setting as well as creating awareness of the festival nationwide.” says Stacy Vee, talent buyer for Stagecoach and the inaugural Stagecoach Spotlight Tour. “There are certain artists that leave you wanting more, so much so that we decided to continue the partnership into a tour. Such is the case with Old Dominion and will be the case across all artists that Stagecoach is so proud to support.

During this morning’s performance on ABC’s ‘Good Morning America, the band talked about this unprecedented tour and performed current Top 30-and-climbing single, “Song For Another Time,” and fan favorite album cut, “Said Nobody.” Both songs are from their critically acclaimed RCA Nashville debut album, “Meat and Candy, which NPR hailed for its “first-rate craftsmanship” and Entertainment Weekly called “deceptively smart” and “infectious.”

It’s a huge deal for us to have our own headlining tour and our name on the ticket,” evoked lead singer Matthew Ramsey. “Our fans have shown up in ways we never imagined and we can’t wait to see what these shows will be like.  We’ve gotten a little taste of that energy this summer, so we are very excited for this fall!
