Willie Nelson Shares His Thoughts On The Future & More On The Season Premiere Of ‘Rock & Roll Road Trip With Sammy Hagar’

The Red Rocker, Sammy Hagar, kicks off the fourth season of the popular AXS TV series “Rock & Roll Road Trip” with a lively tour of Texas, visiting Billy Bob’s…The World’s Largest Honky Tonk…and taking in some local bull-riding action, before sitting down for a candid conversation and impromptu jam session with award-winning Country music icon Willie Nelson.

The episode airs on Sunday, May 5th, in an all-new timeslot: 8:00 pm ET.

In this exclusive first look, Sammy hops onboard Willy’s tour bus to talk about the highs and lows of the trailblazer’s legendary legacy. At 86 years of age, with a celebrated career spanning over six decades, Nelson continues to perform to packed crowds across the nation and has no intention of slowing down. But that hasn’t stopped people from asking him when he’s going to finally call it quits.

“You hear that every day… they say that all the time,” Nelson reflects. In his trademark style, the Outlaw Country superstar serves it right back to them, as he charmingly quips, “Every time, I say, ‘Oh, this is the last one.’”
