Don’t miss triple-threat singer, songwriter, and guitarist Frank Ray on “Real Country” tonight (Monday, Dec. 3rd) at 11/10 CT on USA Network! Ray was hand-selected by platinum-selling singer-songwriter Jake Owen to be part of #TeamJake, after Owen took notice of his meteoric rise and incredible stage presence.
Ray wrote all the songs on his debut EP, “Different Kind of Country”, which has spawned two top-ten hits on Texas Country Radio. Earlier this summer, while his single “Drive” jumped to No. 1 on the Texas Country Regional Chart, his music video for single, “Tequila Mockingbird,” was named one of the 10 Best Country Songs of the Week by Rolling Stone. The single has since reached over 275,000 streams on Spotify and charted on Billboard Country Radio.
In this episode, Ray and two other acts will compete for $10,000, a performance at Stagecoach…California’s Country Music Festival, and a spot in the grand finale where they will then vie for a chance to win $100,000 and a highly coveted performance at Nashville’s iconic Grand Ole Opry.
