The Christmas season is in full swing for “pioneering independent” Aaron Watson as he makes his debut appearance on the Hallmark Channel, performing songs from this brand-new Christmas album, “An Aaron Watson Family Christmas,” on the morning talk show “Home & Family,” airing Thursday, December 6th at 10:00 am eastern / 9:00 am central.
His wife of 16 years, Kimberly, will be joining him on set to talk about the ten-song project which was a labor of love for Watson and truly a family affair. Kimberly and their children; Jake (12), Jack (11) & Jolee Kate (8) are all featured on the album, a beautiful collection of standards and two originals. Among the classics of yesteryear is “Silent Night,” which People premiered a video clip for earlier this week. Originals include a self-penned neo-classic tip of the hat to Aaron’s home state of Texas with “Lonestar Lonely Christmas” and the beautiful “She Stared At Him All Night,” which was written by Drew Womack and depicts Mary in the manger with Jesus.
An acoustic clip of the stirring song launched over the weekend via Country Rebel, racking up more than 130k views in under 48 hours.
