The Band Perry Added To NYE Line Up!

If you are staying in this New Year’s Eve, you are still ensured a night of great entertainment while enjoying the comfort of your own living room.  Some of Music City’s biggest performers will be hitting the stage right from your TV!  The dynamic country trio, The Band Perry, announced yesterday they will be part of “Pitbull’s New Year’s Revolution,” which will air live from Miami Beach, Florida on Fox.

The Band Perry has achieved both enormous mainstream success and gained major critical acclaim since they delivered their platinum self-titled debut. This introduced the sibling trio as a powerful new force to be reckoned on the country scene. 2010’s The Band Perry gave us five hit singles, including the quintuple-platinum chart-topper “If I Die Young” as well as platinum hits and #1 “All Your Life”, “You Lie”, “Hip to My Heart” and the gold-certified single “Postcard from Paris.” Followed by the band’s gold-certified second album Pioneer, Kimberly Perry and her younger brothers Reid and Neil dug deeper into an edgy, rock-and-roll-inspired sound while still staying true to their Southern roots.

Keeping in line of country trios, don’t forget to tune in to ABC’s, “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest,” to catch part of Lady Antebellum’s performance at Nashville’s “Bash on Broadway”. The concert will air marking the first time that Nashville’s celebration has ever been featured on the program. Also from Nashville, Gavin DeGraw will also perform and the “Rockin’ Eve” will also feature Florida Georgia Line and the part-time Nashvillian Taylor Swift performing live in Times Square. And you won’t want to miss Music City newcomer Meghan Trainor, performing live from Los Angeles.

And if that isn’t enough, those of you who are already having withdrawals from “The Voice” can tune into NBC, where Blake Shelton will join fellow “Voice” coaches Gwen Stefani, Pharrell Williams and host Carson Daly on “New Year’s Eve with Carson Daly.”

Country music will be ringing in the New Year in a big way and it kind of makes me want to stay in this New Year’s Eve! Wishing you a very happy and save New Year this year!
