This past week, Donahew made a stop at Nashville’s local music joint 3rd and Lindsley.   The venue was packed for his show on Wednesday night where Donahew, who’s shows nearly always sell out, kept the fans on their feet and singing along to all his hits.  He is always a thrill to watch as he is full of enthusiasm and you can tell how sincerely he appreciates his fanbase and being able to do what he loves.

There’s something different about Donahew’s music.  He writes real country, penning most of his own songs; which are lyrically quite clever.  He is also a true country boy and I think this is why he has such a following.  His music has what a lot of today’s mainstream country lacks- countriness- country sound and country lyrics.

If you’re already a Casey Donahew fan and haven’t snagged your copy yet, you’re going to love his new hits album.  If you aren’t familiar with the name but like real country I highly recommend you grab a copy!  You won’t be disappointed!

You can find the album on iTunes or purchase a signed CD and other cool march via his website caseydonahew.com.
