Sam Outlaw x FADER Reveal 1st Song From New Album ‘Tenderheart’

SoCal country breakout Sam Outlaw has shared the first track from his upcoming album ‘Tenderheart’, due out this spring!

Called “Everyone’s Looking For Home”, the new song comes paired with a home movie montage of Sam’s life between family, new fatherhood and the long touring road. “FADER” recenlty premiered the track|video, calling it “gorgeous…a moving three-minute distillation of his new life, with a mariachi breakdown to boot“.

One of LA’s only modern country artists, Sam sat down with NPR’s 1A recenlty to chat about the ways the genre is expanding in 2017. Historian Jocelyn Neal, Kristian Bush of Sugarland, and writers Amanda Petrusich and Kurt Bardella also joined the conversation, disproving the myths of red solo cups, lost dogs and broken hearts while pointing to the ways modern pop and R&B artists are taking inspiration from country’s growing force.

Tenderheart‘ is due out April 14th on Six Shooter Records. Sam kicks off an extensive tour behind the new album in April, including a hometown show at The Troubadour.
