Pandora Welcomes Lee Brice To It’s Elite Billionaires’ Club

With well over 2 billion spins on Pandora, Lee Brice was inducted into the streaming service’s ‘Billionaires Club’. The “Rumor” singer, who is now among the Top 25 most-streamed country artists of all time on Pandora, was surprised with a plaque commemorating the milestone at CMA Fest, becoming only the second country artist behind Keith Urban to receive the Pandora Billionaire plaque.

I said it from stage last night, but this honor from our friends at Pandora is a direct reflection of the incredible country music fans that I’m blessed to get to make music and tour for,” says Lee. “I’m the one who gets to take this plaque home, but it really belongs to all of the country music fans out there who allow me and my band to live our dreams every single day. We couldn’t do it without you. Thank you!”

Topping 2 billion streams puts Brice in company with not only Urban, but legends including Johnny Cash and Fleetwood Mac, and pop phenoms such as John Legend.

It’s no surprise that Lee is in the elite company of our Billionaires’ Club, not only because country music is so massive on Pandora but also because of his musical magic,” says Beville Dunkerley, Director of Artist Marketing and Industry Relations, Pandora.  “He consistently delivers relatable lyrics with infectious melodies, appealing to a wide – and passionate – demo on Pandora. He gets an average of more than 100,000 Pandora ‘thumbs up’ per week!”

The “evocative male vocalist” (New York Times), reached the 2 billion mark earlier this year and has since climbed to more than 2.4 billion. Lee currently receives more than 6 million Pandora spins per week, and with the addition of his new single, “Rumor,” Pandora predicts a significant spike in that number in the coming weeks.

When Lee Brice isn’t selling-out arenas, writing and recording songs or building a new brand like American Born whiskey…you’ll find him with his wife Sara, two young boys Takoda and Ryker, and new daughter Trulee Nanette, who was born last year on June 3rd.

Lee is a Grammy nominee, a CMA nominee and a double ACM award winner, and he’s taken five radio singles to #1:  “A Woman Like You,” “Hard To Love,” “I Drive Your Truck,” “I Don’t Dance,” and “Drinking Class.” Garth Brooks, Jason Aldean, Kenny Chesney and others have recorded his songs and he’s performed on TV shows including NBC’s Today, ABC’s The Bachelor, NBC’s The Voice and FOX’s Miss USA 2018.

Lee’s new single “Rumor” is out now and follows “Boy,” the debut song from his fourth studio album, “Lee Brice“.
