New Music: Drake White’s “Live” EP Out December 14th

The “growling, stomping spitfire with infectious, bluesy energy” (Rolling Stone) that is Drake White delivers “Drake White and The Big Fire Live”…A new four-song live EP…to digital stores on Friday, December 14th.

We love playing live because we get to connect – it’s all about the people in the room. The audience is like another instrument,” says Drake of the EP, which contains three previously-unreleased songs. “The crowd noise is as much a part of the song as the song itself. Spontaneity and imperfection are two ingredients in the gumbo that give it that spice, that fire.”

Rolling Stone premiered “All Would Be Right With The World” on Monday, December 10th, calling Drake “a voracious live performer who considers each performance a chance to swell the ranks of his ‘Appalachian soul funk feel-good army’ — playing ringleader to his own kind of oddball, musical circus.” (Read the full article, here.)

“Drake White and The Big Fire Live” Complete Track List, which can be purchased this Friday at all digital retailers:

“Raised Right”
“All Would Be Right with the World”

Named one of No Depression’s 7 Male Artists to Breakout in 2018, Drake White put together the “Pieces”. His “Pieces” EP (available now) features 5 new tracks, 2 of which he co-wrote. This follows his debut album “Spark” which earned praise both critically and across his loyal fan following. The 2016 Taste of Country Fan Choice Awards Album of the Year is a 12-track labor-of-love showcasing his exemplary songwriting with a rock-infused, organic Country sound and signature foot-stomp.

The sultry “Makin’ Me Look Good Again,” hit the top spot on SiriusXM’s The Highway with its deeply personal lyrics about his wife, and contagious groove. It also earned Drake the honor of International Song of the Year at the British CMA Awards. Fans from all genres voted Drake CBS.com’s Grammy “Artist of Tomorrow,” and he continues to stun crowds with his incredible live show and soulful voice.

Drake… along with his band The Big Fire…has previously toured with artists including Willie Nelson, Dierks Bentley, Little Big Town, Zac Brown Band, Eric Church, Toby Keith and more. It is no wonder that the Alabama native was featured in Entertainment Weekly’s New Artists Who Will Rule 2017, Rolling Stone’s 10 Country Artists You Need To Know and Billboard’s Hot New Country Artists to Watch.

Further, major corporate brands have taken notice, including Geico who showcased his song “Heartbeat” in its national television campaign. Drake recently wrapped a second leg on Kip Moore’s “Plead The Fifth Tour” and is currently on the road for additional headline dates.
