Miranda Lambert Delivers New Video For ‘Vice’

The wait is over…Miranda Lambert debuted her new video for her hit single “VICE” this morning. The beginning of the video doesn’t look promising for Miranda…although she emerges from the wreckage of an overturned car seemingly unscathed.

As the music starts to kick in, Miranda awakens and crawls out of the turmoil…a metaphor of what she’s going through in her personal life? Possibly…putting her boot back on she heads down the dusty road wearing one earring, a flowy black dress and her hair still looking pretty fabulous considering into a sleepy little town. Shedding her leather jacket, smoking and drinking in a small bar, Lambert is gone almost as quickly as she came.

As she sings, “Don’t know where I am or how I got here…Well, the only thing that I know how to find…Is another vice,” Lambert at a crossroads when a black Cadillac (with no one at the wheel mind you) pulls up and she hops in the back seat without any hesitation.

Miranda first confirmed new music was on the horizon in an interview during opening night of CMA Fest back in June. When asked, she said she hoped to release new music by mid-summer. “Vice” is the first single off her yet-to-be-named sixth studio album.

The reigning ACM Female Vocalist of the Year played coy on Instagram posting a black and white photo of her hand holding a liquor glass without a caption. She followed up with a black and white photo of her handing placing a needle onto a record that has the word “vice” artfully blurred.

Miranda has had a busy summer touring. Not only has she been headlining her own tour, “Keeper of the Flame”, but she has also teamed up with Kenny Chesney for his stadium dates for his “Spread the Love Tour”.
