LONESTAR Announces “Hits & More Hits” Tour 2019

Acclaimed country music hitmakers Lonestar have announced plans for their extensive North American 2019 concert tour dubbed “Hits & More Hits.” 2019 marks the 20th anniversary of the band’s triple-platinum “Lonely Grill” album, which featured four songs to hit #1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart: “Amazed” (also a #1 Hot 100 hit), “Smile,” “What About Now” and “Tell Her.”

Lonestar will showcase much of the album along the “Hits & More Hits” trek and are discussing recording new stripped-down versions of their hits. The band promises an intimate and memorable performance not-to-be-missed by any Lonestar fan.

Lonestar…Richie McDonald (lead vocals), Michael Britt (lead guitar & backing vocals), Keech Rainwater (drums) and Dean Sams (keyboards & backing vocals)…hvae been rehearsing for the tour and recording new music in Nashville since the wrap of their late 2018 “Not So Silent Night” tour with Phil Vassar.

We are celebrating another milestone in 2019,” says Dean Sams.  “It’s the 20th Anniversary of the release of our “Lonely Grill” CD that had 4 number 1 singles on it and sold over 4 million records. Hope to see everyone out to celebrate with us on our ‘Hits and More Hits Tour’ in a city near you!  After all, it’s you the fans that made it happen!!!”

With over 45 “Hits & More Hits” shows booked so far, the tour kicks off early March in Florida and will weave its way coast-to-coast across the U.S. and Canada before wrapping up late this year. More shows are being added.
