After releasing a pop version of her song “Awake” on January 31st, Kalie Shorr has released the music video to accompany the EDM/pop tune. PerezHilton.com exclusively premiered the video yesterday. PerezHilton.com calls the music video “SO dreamy!”, and Perez Hilton himself even commented “Kalie Shorr is gonna win a lot of Grammys one day – and when she does, I told you all first!!!”
This song has been so special to me since I wrote it with my producer Skip Black. To see it repeatedly be one of the top three most requested songs on Radio Disney is surreal. Country Music will always be my first love, but I also love stretching boundaries. And this ‘Awake’ (Pop Mix) stretch is fun to watch and I’m grateful to everyone out there supporting it,” said Kalie Shorr.
Both country and pop versions of Shorr’s “Awake” were released on January 31st, simultaneously premiering on Radio Disney Country and Radio Disney, a first for the stations.
