Texas group Josh Abbott Band is the latest country act to form a non-profit dedicated to helping their fan base. Their charitable organization, JAB Cares, assists faithful fans in the towns and cities in which they perform.
As Josh Abbott Band traveled the highways and back roads of this country, they realized a need to give back to the people who support them.
In the past few years we have been beyond blessed by our fans. As we visit new communities and old friends, we have found more and more that there is so much we can do to help,” they share.
Fans of the group can expect a personal touch when the band reaches out to them and their communities. The JAB Cares Facebook page shows the band visiting kids at St. Jude’s Hospital and helping with a college fundraiser.
It is our goal to share your stories, bring awareness where we can, and say ‘Thank You’ for the many ways you have changed our lives,” they reveal. “Be looking for upcoming events in your area.” The group currently has a JAB Cares online promotion that includes a free t-shirt for every $25 donation.
Josh Abbott Band features vocalist Josh Abbott on guitar, Preston Wait on fiddle, Austin Davis on banjo, and guitar, Caleb Keeter on guitar, James Hertless on bass guitar and Edward Villanueva on drums. They’re currently on the road promoting their recent release, Front Row Seat.
