Jenny Tolman Hits Number Two On CMT Music 12 Pack Countdown

Jenny Tolman is one of the latest to be named CMT’s Artist Discovery Initiative. Her recently premiered video for the single, “Something To Complain About,” held a firm top ten position two weeks in a row before jumping into the number two spot on the CMT Music 12 Pack Countdown show.

To see the top 12 videos chosen by fans tune in on Fridays at 9/8 central on the 24/7 digital music channel CMT Music and CMT.com.

Directed by Seth Zaluski of Spectrum Innovations, the wishful-thinking perspective music video was shot inside a beach-side mansion north of Miami, Florida and has gained attention in the Orlando Sun Sentinel and Profile Miami.  Much like the video, the songs found on Tolman’s forthcoming full length album titled “Jennyville” are smart, playful, insightful and vulnerable…as is the woman behind them.

Dedicated to connecting emerging artists with a passionate new fanbase, the CMT Artist Discovery Initiative has singled out Tolman as an artist to watch in 2018, a talented Nashville native who with her own twist and unique stylings co-wrote the well-crafted country song with Aaron Raitiere (three songs on Miranda Lambert’s “The Weight of These Wings”) and Tolman’s multi-Grammy nominated  producer Dave Brainard (Brandy Clark, Jerrod Neimann, Sunny Sweeney).

In just a short time, Tolman has already made impressive waves with over 400,000 streams of “Something To Complain About” on Spotify.  Her positive approach with fans on social media have earned her 70,000 Facebook followers and those numbers are rapidly growing.

As a new artist, Tolman recognizes the importance of being seen on a regular basis in order to establish recognition and grow a fanbase.  On Friday, April 13th you can find her doing what she does best at The Sutler, one of Nashville’s familiar hot spots for ‘live’ entertainment.
