Jason Aldean Kicks Off ‘Rearview Town’ With National Performances

Jason Aldean has announced street week plans consisting of multiple national television appearances and fan opportunities in support of his new album REARVIEW TOWN, available TODAY (April 13th).

To celebrate his eighth studio album, Aldean  hosted an intimate iHeartCountry Album Release Party last night (April 12th at 10:00 PM ET via iHeartCountry’s YouTube), prior to co-hosting CMT’s Hot 20 Countdown on Saturday and Sundaymornings (April 14th and April 15th at 9:00 AM ET on CMT).

The two-time reigning and current ACM “Entertainer of the Year” nominee will return to Vegas for his performance at  the 53rd Academy of Country Music Awards (April 15th at 8:00 PM ET on CBS) before continuing the momentum next week.

Aldean will perform the Top 5 and climbing single “You Make It Easy” from his “muscular” (Rolling Stone) new record on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Monday (April 16th, check local listings) he’ll take over the Big Apple for additional performances on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Tuesday (April 17th on CBS at 11:35P ET) and will play a multi-performance set on TODAY (April 18th at 7:00 AM ET/CT on NBC). He will wrap the week with the SiriusXM Private “Rearview Town” Album Release Show (April 18th at 6:00 PM ET on The Highway; Ch. 56) from the new Opry City Stage in New York City.

What sets Aldean apart from the pack is that he’s still the guy from Macon, GA, who remembers the folks who have supported him from the beginning. That’s why he’s connected with audiences representing rearview towns all over the world”  states CMT.

Aldean’s sure-footedness has helped define the genre’s 21st century, which plays into his 19 No. One hits, more than 15 million total album sales and dozens of sold-out stadium shows. Continuing with that momentum, the new music follows Aldean’s last three albums that each bowed at No. One on the all-genre Billboard 200 albums chart and all seven of his previous LPs have achieved Platinum certification or better.

Aldean’s wide-open approach has made him a perennial live-show favorite for the format as he has headlined the biggest stadiums in the United States where “Aldean and his band rock hard and precise” (Houston Chronicle) and this year, his “High Noon Neon Tour” will launch on May 10th.
