George Strait to Release His 39th Studio Album – “Here For A Good Time” – and A Chance to See George Live !

The King of Country Music continues to reign. George Strait has managed to release 89 singles, rope 57 number ones and ride a 30 plus year career of stellar success.

Strait has sold 69 million records, holds the most RIAA platinum certifications in country music – the third in all genres, snuggled comfortably behind the Beatles and Elvis Presley – a record that lead to a well-deserved induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2006.

And just when you think George might be out of tricks, he released his 89th single, his second highest Billboard Country debut since “I Saw God Today”.

“Here For A Good Time” – George’s current single – sits at No. 16 across all charts after only 8 weeks and is the title track to Strait’s upcoming 39th studio album to be released September 6, 2011.

But there’s more …

Strait has mounted a new saddle, kicked up his spurs and pulled the reins in a different direction on “Here For A Good Time”. George holds credits in the co-writing on 7 of the 11 tracks with his son, Bubba Strait and legendary songwriter Dean Dillon. He recorded at Shrimpboat Sound Studio in Key West, FL – the same place he recorded his last three award-winning albums – and co-produced “Here For A Good Time” with long-time friend and legendary producer, Tony Brown.
