Garth Brooks…Coming To A Stadium Near You?!

Garth Brooks has announced his biggest tour ever! The Country Music Icon will tour different stadiums throughout 2019.

During a recent press conference at the Country Music Hall of Fame (Wednesday , Oct. 17th), Brooks revealed that the stadium tour will begin in the spring at the Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis, Mo. He also specified that there will be 30 stadiums on his tour, with 10-12 concerts per year over the next three years.

This one is going to be so special, so rare,” he says. “This one’s going to be fun and each one’s going to be unique…their own thing.”

The second venue on the tour will be State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Ariz. (Phoenix). There will be a handful of  shows going on sale before Christmas 2018, and while Brooks did not reveal the additional three stops on the tour, he strongly hinted that he will be playing the Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass. and the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Brooks also stated that his October 20th show at Notre Dame will be a unique one, as it’s going to be recapped on CBS on December 2nd at 8:00 PM ET.

The stadium shows are still in the process of being planned but Brooks suggested fans treat it like “game day,” sharing his ideas extending from asking fans to paint their faces in their favorite team’s color, to a halftime that features sports and inclusion of the “G-Men” at shows. (These are the men who played on his record with him decades ago). Right now these are just ideas, but the 56-year-old country star is clearly dreaming big!

It’s not confirmed if Trisha Yearwood or anyone else will be joining him to open shows on the stadium tour…
