Florida Georgia Line Is Top Of The Class for 2015 Toping Forbes 30 Under 30

In less than three years, Florida Georgia Line has proved to be unstoppable! 2014 could not have been a better year for the superstar duo and it is no shock that the top-selling country artists leads Forbes Magazine’s prestigious “30 under 30” music class of 2015.

“It’s a huge honor to be named one of the 30 Under 30,” Hubbard, 27, recently stated. “For us, it’s something that if you’d asked us three years ago, we would’ve laughed at you.” “We were negative 30 Under 30, actually,” jokes Kelley, 29. Adds Hubbard, “We had about negative $30 in our bank account two years ago. I’m not really exaggerating.”

Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley recently topped Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list in music, for their “blend of country, rock, electronic, hip-hop and pop… with a shot of disruptive entrepreneurialism.” Both music critics and fans have embraced their boozy, summer lovin’ tunes, launching  FGL’s Gold-certified sophomore album, Anything Goes, to a #1 debut on the all-genre Billboard 200 and Billboard Top Country Albums charts upon its release.

Their smash single “Cruise” moved 8 million units in less than two years, becoming the most-downloaded country song of all time, helping them earn $24 million last year alone! A remix featuring rapper Nelly may have helped give them a little nudge…

Following in line with their latest Top 10-and-climbing single “Sun Daze” and platinum #1 smash hit, “Dirt,” Florida Georgia Line has 13 industry awards under their belts in 2014 alone. Kicking off 2015 with a bang, they performed an epic, live performance on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.

2014 topping four of Billboard’s year-end charts included the following for the duo:

#1 Top Country Artists – Duo/Group

#1 Top Hot Country Songs for “This Is How We Roll”

#1 Top Country Digital Songs Titles for “This Is How We Roll”

#1 Top Country Streaming Songs for “Cruise”

Florida Georgia Line kicked off their first year long headlining tour with a sold-out show at the Huntington Center on Thursday night with show opener, Thomas Rhett.
