Katie Armiger, who Country Weekly magazine recently named one of the 10 most beautiful women in country (right up there with Shania Twain, Carrie Underwood, Danielle Bradbery and Miranda Lambert!) has teamed up with Yahoo! for the premier of her new video, ‘One Night Between Friends.’

On top of being named one of Country’s 10 most beautiful women, iHeartMedia featured Katie as one of their artists of the month for the month of November. They also featured ‘One Night Between Friends’ by running it 3 to 5 times a day across their country stations’ digital streams.
Katie’s album holds the distinction of being the most-charted indie female in country music history (with 7 singles) and the longest-charting indie female in country music history. ‘Fall Into Me’ was on the album chart for 48 of 52 weeks last year! The last couple of years Katie has shared stages with some of country music’s leading artists, which include Brad Paisley, Dierks Bentley, Little Big Town, Eli Young Band, Darius Rucker, Josh Turner, Rodney Atkins and Kellie Pickler, just to name a few.
The video following her new single, ‘One Night Between Friends’ was filmed in Los Angeles and directed by Justin Baldoni. You may know Baldoni as one of the starts of the new CW show, ‘Jane the Virgin’, and who also produced the video for Katie’s breakout single ‘Safe’. It was No. 1 on the Top 20 Country Countdown Chart and is a stunning video which pays tribute to first responders and has gotten more than two million YouTube views!
November was a busy month for Katie, who was overseas for ‘U.S. Girls With Guitars,’ her first-ever European tour which kicked off in Glasgow. Armiger is touring in support of her newest album, Fall Into Me, which was produced by the Grammy winning Chad Carlson (Taylor Swift) and also features collaborations with some of Nashville’s most in demand songwriters, Blair Daly (Faith Hill, Keith Urban, Tim McGraw), Joe West (Toby Keith) and Bruce Wallace (Dirks Bentley, Trace Adkins, Montgomery Gentry) amongst others. The album debuted on the Billboard Independent Albums Chart at No. 6 and No. 7 on Billboard Country Albums Chart.
I hope Katie continues to receive the recognition she deserves and we see more and more of her in the future!
