Chris Young Receives Some Exciting News On The “Today Show”

Chris Young started his week off pretty good for a Monday morning. Early yesterday morning (Nov. 16th) he learned LIVE on the ‘Today Show’ that his latest hit single “I’m Comin’ Over” is now the #1 song in the country! Matt Lauer gave the good news to Young before he was set to perform the very song live on national television.

I had no idea,” Young admits with a big smile and a laugh. “We were wondering about this all night long and no one would tell me anything.”

Young, still in disbelief, pointed to his team standing on the other side of the cameras…

I hate all of you,” he says. “I love you, but I hate all of you. They wouldn’t tell me! That’s amazing.”
