“But I Want You” was co-written by Jaida Dreyer, Fred Wilhelm, and Jay Knowles…this is the follow up single to her debut release, “Shadows Dance  Tonight” which scored this emerging artist her 1st nationally charted single! “Shadows Dance Tonight” landed at #55 on Music Row Charts and received strong airplay across the United States and Canada.

I’m so excited about this song,” said Rae. “It has the perfect combination of vulnerability and sass… so many people can relate to this situation –  I know I can!!! It is a privilege to be the one out there singing it to the world.”

Rae captivates her audience with her insightful songwriting and vibrant vocals… she can perform multiple genres of music, ranging from classical to bluegrass, but finds her artistic home in country. Influenced by some of the greatest women in music such as Martina McBride, Faith Hill, Reba McEntire, Trisha Yearwood, and Betsy Smith. At a very young age, her songs capture all different stages in her life.

Unique, Memorable, and Relatable are some of the words audiences and fans have used to describe Camille Rae… from playing in hotel bars to large music venues Camille has left audiences in awe!

I feel like I have been put on this earth to help people and the most influential way for me to do that is through my music,”  said Rae. “I like to write about things people are afraid to speak aloud; I like to use my music to empower people.”

Rae is currently in the studio working on a full length studio project. A music video for “But I Want You” has been taped and will be released in upcoming weeks…
