Blue Honey Releases Sweet Single Ahead Of Sophomore Project

Husband and wife duo Blue Honey, consisting of Troy Brooks and Kassie Jordan-Brooks, are excited to announce the release of the debut single, “August Without Us,” from their upcoming sophomore album on all digital platforms available now. The bright, mid-tempo summer jam was produced by Troy and Kassie and written by K. Brooks, T. Brooks, and M. Willis. It has quickly become a fan favorite at Blue Honey’s live shows and depicts a story of a summer love that faded away. Kassie’s distinct vocal styling paired with Troy’s harmonies creates a song that’s sure to get stuck in your head.

This song was as fun to write as it is to perform. We haven’t been this excited about a song in a long time,” exclaims Kassie and Troy. “We can’t wait for everyone to hear it!”

2018 is proving to be a milestone year for the duo. Following the debut of their music video for, “Angels Come Home,” on world-renowned outlet The Boot, they were named one of the “10 Country Artists To Watch in 2018” by The Nashville Knack and were included on The Country Source’s “One To Watch 2018” list. Their song “Wherever You Are Tonight” was also recently featured on Spectra Music’s Americana Made: Volume 1 compilation album.

The connection between the two is undeniable and can only be found between two people in love. Their harmonies intertwine flawlessly while showcasing Kassie’s powerhouse vocals and Troy’s blues inspired guitar riffs. They have brought that rare connection back into the studio to record their sophomore project, expected to release summer ‘18.
