His latest album is titled Old Boots, New Dirt. I wonder if that was refering to the 38 year old country singer’s marriage to 27 year old Brittany Kerr? According to US Weekly the two were wed this past Saturday in Mexico. Some family and friends celebrated the hapless…I mean, happy couple, including Aldean’s two daughters and Willie Robertson of Duck Dynasty fame.
You might remember Brittany from American Idol a few seasons back, but perhaps more salaciously from the 2012 cheating scandal involving the then married Jason Aldean. Hey, I am not here to judge (ok, maybe a little), it worked out for Johnny and June, right?
Post scandal Kerr released a statement citing, “a lapse in judgement on my part”. Hmm, we’ll see how that works out for ya. But alas, their furtive torrid love refused to be held back by the bonds of, well, Aldean’s previous marriage. The two continued to date and became engaged back in September of 2014.
All’s well that ends well, I suppose. Despite my opinion on…umm…
