Steve Moakler Releases Blue Jeans Album

Creative Nation singer-songwriter and country/Americana hitmaker Steve Moakler has released the final Pocket of his Blue Jeans album today, Friday January 17th. The newest tracks on the three-part “pockets” series, Pocket 3 contains Moakler’s latest release “‘72 Winnebago” which premiered this week with Billboard. Each song on the album ties with personal memories to Moakler, and “‘72 Winnebago” was inspired by his cross country trips on his “Hometowns & Campgrounds” Tour.

“Almost all these songs have a very personal experience attached to it,” Moakler shared with Billboard about the album, “I think it’s easier to write, because you’re pulling from exactly what’s on your heart and what your experience has been. I guess I’ve learned from my heroes and my favorite music is somehow, mysteriously, the most personal story is also the most universal.”

The feel-good tracks continue to unfold the unique journey Moakler is taking listeners on with his innovative Pocket releases. Moakler co-wrote Dierks Bentley’s hit single, “Riser,” and he’s also penned tracks for Reba McEntire, Jake Owen, Ben Rector and others. “I’ve been wanting to put these stories to music for a long time and I couldn’t be more proud of how it all came together.” Steve shared with his followers. Blue Jeans was produced by Nick Lobel and Luke Laird and features 10-tracks.
