Finally Randy Travis fans are receiving some good news – the country icon is still in critical condition, but is resting comfortably. The 54-year-old singer suffered a stroke Wednesday evening (July 10) due to complications of congestive heart failure and underwent emergency surgery to relieve pressure on his brain. Travis is now out of surgery and under heavy sedation.
“His family continues to ask for prayers and support,” Travis’ publicist said Friday evening.
