Sneak Peek: Randy Travis and The Avett Brothers Film CMT Crossroads

Country legend Randy Travis joined fellow North Carolina natives The Avett Brothers last night at the Factory in Franklin, Tennessee to film the 46th installment of CMT Crossroads.  The show, now in its tenth year, pairs country icons with prominent artists from other genres, performing unique takes on one another’s discographies.

Travis injected a classic country vibe to the Avetts’ “I and Love and You,” “January Wedding” and “Murder in the City,” while the Avetts took a turn on Travis’ long-time hits “Forever and Ever Amen,” “Three Wooden Crosses” and “Deeper Than the Holler.”

CMT Crossroads: The Avett Brothers and Randy Travis will premiere Friday, November 23 at 11 p.m. ET.
