Randy Rogers Band’s 9th Annual Golf Jam Raises More Than $100,000

On Monday, September 18, 2017, the Randy Rogers Band hosted its 9th annual Golf Jam and Concert presented by Shiner Beer at River Crossing Club (500 River Way) in Spring Branch, TX.

The day-long event raised more than $100,000 for Health Alliance for Austin Musicians (HAAM), an organization providing the musicians of Austin, TX with affordable and quality health care for low-income, uninsured working musicians, and MusiCares® Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund, which provides assistance for members of the music community affected by the recent devastation of Hurricane Harvey.

In collaboration with Y100, the annual Golf Jam included a three-man scramble that took place during the day, followed with intimate performances by Randy Rogers, Wade Bowen, Bruce Robison and Jim Beavers. A record-breaking number of golfers were in attendance, and the VIP section of the concert sold out.

During a time when so many are in need in our great state, we are so appreciative of the sponsors and supporters who came through for HAAM and Musicares for this event,” says Randy Rogers. “We’re excited about the response to the changes we made this year and are already looking forward to next year’s event.”

In 2009, Randy Rogers Band created the annual golf and concert event to give back to the community. Since the tournament’s inception, the Randy Rogers Band has raised more than half a million dollars for organizations across Texas.
