Over 56,000 Attend 5th Annual Taste Of Country Music Festival

A record 56,000+ elated country music fans turned out over three days to attend the Northeast’s premiere multi-day country music festival, the 5th Annual Taste of Country Music Festival, held June 9-11, 2017 at Hunter Mountain Resort (Hunter, NY) in the Great Northern Catskills of Greene County.

The star-packed lineup for this year’s festival was headlined by Jason Aldean and Miranda Lambert, and also included Chris Young, Kip Moore, Tyler Farr, Maren Morris, Joe Nichols, Maddie & Tae, Cody Johnson, RaeLynn, and a host of rising new country artists.

Sam Hunt, scheduled for Sunday, was unable to perform due to illness…

On Saturday night, the Festival announced that country music superstar Eric Church will be the first headliner for the 2018 festival.

We’re incredibly proud of the festival we’ve grown over these past five years,” said Dhruv Prasad, one of the festival’s organizers. “We couldn’t have done it without a lot of partners: the amazing artists, our hosts at Hunter Mountain, all of our great staff, our sponsors, the State of New York, and the folks in Greene County, and – of course – our fans.  This annual festival offers a chance for them to gather together and share their passion for country music. We’re proud to deliver the artists and experience that make that possible each year.”

The 6th Annual Taste of Country Music Festival will be held June 8-10, 2018. Advance tickets for next year’s event are on sale now through Thursday (June 15th) at 11:59 PM ET at the festival’s website.
