Miranda first confirmed new music was on the horizon in an interview during opening night of CMA Fest back in June. When asked, she said she hoped to release new music by mid-summer. “Vice” is the first single off her yet-to-be-named sixth studio album.

The reigning ACM Female Vocalist of the Year played coy on Instagram posting a black and white photo of her hand holding a liquor glass without a caption. On Thursday, she followed up with a black and white photo of her handing placing a needle onto a record that has the word “vice” artfully blurred.

Miranda has had a busy summer touring. Not only has she been headlining her own tour, “Keeper of the Flame”, but she has also teamed up with Kenny Chesney for his stadium dates for his “Spread the Love Tour”.
