New Music: Emily Hackett Releases “Once In A While” Album Session

Nashville-based country singer/songwriter Emily Hackett debuts her album session music video for “Once In A While”, which premiered on Friday via The Boot. The track, which will be featured on Emily’s upcoming album, was filmed live in Emily’s Nashville church, Scarritt-Bennett Center, backed with a stringed quartet.

“The strings add a beautiful sense of drama to the song, which offers a sobered look back at a relationship that’s gone south.” Says Amy McCarthy from The Boot

Emily was recently announced as one of The Boot’s Artists to Watch in 2018 alongside Dalton Domino, Sammy Brue, Abby Anderson and more…see the full lineup here.

Emily’s latest single “Nostalgia” was recently added to rotation on Radio Disney Country via the Radio Disney app. The single’s official video has also seen success on CMT – the video earned Emily a spot on CMT’s Artist Discovery Program, where it received 6+ weeks of airplay on CMT Music – the video even made it on the fan-voted CMT’s 12 Pack Countdown, peaking at #7.

Emily Hackett speaks the truth…the singer-songwriter raised in Atlanta, GA pulls these emotions into her music, stirring in an authentic blend of self-deprecation that is both unique and refreshing. What poises her against the rest of the soul of fiery artist ready to light up the stage, all the while still as honest as her southern roots.

There’s a compatibility between the novelty and depth found in Emily’s artistry. Her music has the power to transform listeners in a direction where many songwriters fear to tread. With her organic honesty and raw-honey vocals, it’s no wonder that the possibilities continue to unfurl for Emily Hackett.
