The 48th Annual ACM Awards are fast approaching and Luke Bryan needs your help to win.
A three-time ACM nominee and the event’s co-host, Luke Bryan, is up for the evening’s most prestigious honor, Entertainer of the Year, competing alongside Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert, Taylor Swift and host Blake Shelton. Luke’s also nicely holding nominations for Male Vocalist of the Year and Album of the Year (Tailgates & Tanlines – Capitol Nashville – Produced by: Mark Bright, Jeff Stevens) and Vocal Event of the Year (The Only Way I Know – Aldean With Luke Bryan & Eric Church (Broken Bow) Produced by: Michael Knox)
“You have to know what you are as an artist when you move to Nashville,” Luke explained to reporters at a recent media event. “When I moved to Nashville, I knew that I wanted to be the Entertainer of the Year at some point. That’s just how I moved to town thinking. It’s not because I want people to open doors for me, that’s just what I wanted to be. I wanted to work for it. If that ever happens, it will be one of the biggest defining moments of my career, and if it doesn’t ever happen, then it wasn’t meant to happen.”

The 48th ANNUAL ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS, will be broadcast LIVE from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Sunday, April 7, 2013 at 8:00PM, live ET/delayed PT on the CBS Television Network. This year, for the third time, the ACM Awards will feature the ACM Ram Red Carpet to welcome country’s biggest stars to the show.
