Disruptive country music starlet & This Nashville Life tastemaker, Kelleigh Bannen, has released her new EP, Cheap Sunglasses…and it is available now on iTunes and Spotify.
Cheap Sunglasses, produced by Jason Lehning, consists of five tracks: “Welcome to the Party,” “Cheap Sunglasses,” “Once Upon A,” “All Good Things,” and the summer jam “Landlocked,” which is the focus track. “Once Upon A” showcases the same vocal prowess as her sales success “Famous” did and the inclusive “Welcome to the Party” is the head bobbing highlight of the EP.
Kelleigh is excited to release this body of work to her fans because, she says, “this project really pushed me out of my comfort zone and into my sweet spot.” Her most authentic release to date allowed her to write on every song, and in doing so, she wove her real life experiences into the lyrics with her unique perspective on life, love and the music industry.
Bannen has been busy recording and touring this year. Kelleigh was invited to perform a song with Carrie Underwood during her ACM Party for Cause performance with Kellie Pickler, Lauren Alaina, and Jana Kramer. She’s also currently touring with fellow CMT “Next Women of Country” artists, Natalie Stovall and Ruthie Collins for the “3 Girls Rock Into A Bar” tour.
