Jason Aldean Raises $315K For Susan G. Komen for the Cure

Multi-Platinum country artist Jason Aldean held his sixth annual “Concert for the Cure” on Friday, donating the profits from his Roanoke, Va. tour stop to Susan G. Komen for the Cure®. A sold-out crowd packed the Roanoke Civic Center on the eve of breast cancer awareness month to raise $315,000 for the fight against breast cancer. “This is one of my favorite things we do all year and taking it on the road to other cities has been huge in helping us bring in more money for Komen,” said Aldean. “All of the money we raised will go to the local Roanoke effort, allowing them to give free mammograms to those who can’t afford it. We’ll pick a different spot for next year and try to beat it.

October is a big month for raising money and awareness, and I have to thank my fans for doing their part! Seeing an arena filled with pink is just a really cool thing!” For more information about Susan G. Komen for the Cure®, breast health or breast cancer, visit www.komen.org or call 1-877 GO KOMEN.
