Country Roads Take Me To Canary Wharf, London

London is gearing up for the return of the ‘Nashville Meets London’ Music Festival at Canary Wharf. The festival that brings the sounds of the south will once again fill the air at Canary Wharf’s Canada Square Park, Saturday and Sunday, July 22-23. The two-day event is open to the public and free for all to come and enjoy.

‘Nashville Meets London’ is on its way to becoming a firm fixture in London’s music calendar and this July will showcase established and exciting new talent from the heart of country music, Nashville, Tennessee and the UK.

This year’s talent lineup will feature US-based acts Russell Dickerson, Lucie Silvas, Ashley Campbell, Sam Outlaw, Angaleena Presley and Jo Smith, alongside UK-based acts Flats & Sharps, Wildwood Kin, Kevin McGuire and Raintown.

Country music lovers can make the most of Canary Wharf’s wide variety of bars and restaurants nearby, including numerous American dining options such as American-inspired and London favorites The Big EasyShake Shack and The Breakfast Club.

‘Nashville Meets London’ is part of Canary Wharf’s Arts + Events program which offers tenants and visitors over 200 diverse and culturally inspired events. From outdoor theatre, live concerts, sporting events, fashion shows, dance performances, global street food and family friendly shows, the majority of these events are free for the public. With a fantastic line-up of activities and eateries, Canary Wharf is the perfect destination for a great day out.

The inaugural Nashville Meets London festival took place in August 2016. Last year, the event drew out an impressive number of people, leaving an overwhelmingly positive response among UK-based Country music fans and locals.
