CMT Premieres Olivia Ooms “Thoughts of You”

CMT world premiered Olivia Ooms’ cinematic video for “Thoughts of You” on the 24/7 digital music channel CMT Music and Olivia, 15, co-wrote “Thoughts of You” with Gavyn Bailey and co-directed the video with David Javier in her hometown of Huntington Beach, California.

I’m so grateful that my music and my words have the chance to be heard through such a positive and uplifting platform like CMT. This is a dream come true!” Olivia exclaimed.

CMT also selected Olivia as part of the Artist Discovery program this summer, which will include “Thoughts of You” in CMT Music’s 12 Pack Countdown. Fans can begin voting at this link for Olivia.

CMT’s Artist Discovery Program is about finding the next wave of talent, artists who have an original sound and are making it happen on their own. Olivia Ooms is a fresh voice with a great song about young love!” Leslie Fram shared, CMT’s SVP Music & Talent.

“Thoughts of You” is the title track off Olivia’s EP, which showcases the fifteen-year-old’s original material that continues to impress audiences. Last fall, Olivia opened for Lady Antebellum and Old Dominion at Coastal Country Jam with her band Olivia Ooms and The Resistors. Olivia’s summer calendar is full of new releases and high-profile appearances. On June 1st, Olivia opened for country music icon Tanya Tucker in Ashland, Ky. Tanya, whose path Olivia can certainly relate to as a teenage songstress rising to fame, invited Olivia onstage for an encore performance of “Delta Dawn.” Recently, Olivia performed and signed autographs for fans during CMA Fest.

The rising singer-songwriter is also the first female country artist featured on Radio Disney’s new station RDYou. The station was created to spotlight emerging artists. By downloading the Radio Disney App, fans can listen to “Thoughts of You,” which she wrote and recorded in Nashville.
