Chris Stapleton Pairs Up With Hank Williams Jr. For Co-Headlining Tour

Chris Stapleton performed “Parachute” and “Nobody To Blame” on the January 16 episode of NBC’s “Saturday Night Live.” Hosted by Adam Driver, the debut episode of 2016 drew the best major market adults 18-49 rating of the past two seasons of the acclaimed series.

The appearance culminates a breakthrough 2015 for Stapleton following the release of his certified RIAA Gold debut solo album, Traveller, which is nominated for Album of the Year and Best Country Album at the 58th Annual Grammy Awards.

Stapleton also received nominations for Best Country Song and Best Country Solo Performance (for the album’s title track) at the Grammy Awards, which will be broadcast live on CBS from L.A.’s Staples Center on Monday, February 15th at 8|7c.

In continued celebration of the release, Stapleton will embark on a special co-headlining tour with Hank Williams Jr. this summer. The two music renegades will kick off their special limited run tour, produced by Live Nation, on August 5, 2016 at the MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa, Florida. The tour will visit 8 cities across the country with dates lined up in Houston, Austin, West Palm Beach, Detroit (Clarkston), Cleveland, Indianapolis and Cincinnati.
