Carrie Underwood Launches Tour With Sold-Out 360-Degrees To Crowd Of 14,000

2016 Grammy nominee Carrie Underwood launched The Storyteller Tour – Stories in the Round over the weekend in Jacksonville, Florida with a sold-out 360-degrees crowd of nearly 14,000 at the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena.

This is Underwood’s first tour “in the round.” With the stage in the middle of the arena floor, the 360-degree setting “had the effect of providing front-row seats for hundreds of fans. Lasers and swaying spotlights and fireworks and explosions all added to the spectacle. But make no mistake, Underwood was the star of the show,” said the Florida Times-Union.

Underwood’s second single “Heartbeat” from her #1 selling Storyteller album, being performed in the tour photo, has reached the Top 10 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart today. The song was co-written by Underwood, Ashley Gorley and Zach Crowell and was produced by Crowell.
