Cam’s Debut Album “Untamed” Available Today

Southern California’s country sweetheart Cam, has released her full-length major-label debut album, “Untamed“, TODAY through Sony Music Entertainment Australia. “Untamed” features her RIAA Gold-certified current single, ‘Burning House.’

Recently named an ‘Artist To Watch’ in Rolling Stone magazine, the debut album features 11 songs, all written or co-written by Cam herself. “Untamed” was produced by Grammy winner Jeff Bhasker and Tyler Johnson.

As Cam explained to Rolling Stone magazine:

I didn’t write these songs really hoping everyone would ‘get’ them, I wrote them because they’re my stories and I was being true to those experiences. So it’s a big relief that people understand me!”

After premiering on October 14, Cam’s powerful music video for ‘Burning House’ has already amassed nearly 3.5 million views. Directed by ACM and CMA Award winner, Trey Fanjoy, check out the video here:

Her storyteller lyrics walk a romantic line between worldly wisdom and Disney charm, and judging by her fan base this sort of thing appeals to all of us. She writes music that exudes absolute comfort and trust in her own tastes. She is not afraid.

Cam is the new kind of cool. Her songwriting cuts have spanned between country and pop, including Miley Cyrus’ worldwide platinum album “Bangerz”. People with ears and hearts, take heed! Cam’s got something for both!

Cam will visit Australia for the first time next March to perform at CMC Rocks Queensland on March 12 and 13, 2016.
