Avett Brothers at Red Rocks for Monolith

Few bands have had such anticipated eps as the Avett Brothers. Highly anticipated because the Gleam eps show that Avett brothers are becoming America’s best band in terms of song craft and vocal harmonies. This band is on yet another brink of something huge, and i just don’t feel that they will have ever reached all of their target audience. But in an effort to do this band some justice, the good folks behind the Monolith Festival in Morrison, CO will be putting them on one of the best and largest stages in the US at Red Rocks Amphitheater on Sunday September 14. If you haven’t seen this band or this festival, do whatever it takes to get out to Denver on September 13 and 14. I had my best festival experience of my life there last year, and the lineup this year will undoubtedly provide just as many jaw droppers and stunning sounds, and don’t be surprised if featured local bands Paper Bird, Joshua Novak, and The Wheel stand out right next to the world’s best.
