Atkins and Beason

Country music artist Rodney Atkins recently presented “Chevy Salutes America’s Heroes” contest winner Master Sgt. Bubba Beason of the US Air Force with a 2010 Chevy Equinox, just in time for Veteran’s Day.

Beason and his family were presented with the new vehicle on ABC’s Good Morning America. Beason’s son Christopher entered his father in the contest, and he was chosen over thousands of entries. The concert was presented by Chevy on the Sommet Center Plaza in Downtown Nashville.

Beason is a member of the 305th Maintenance Squadron, 305th Air Mobility Wing, McGuire Air Force Base, New Jersey. Beason and his family also attended the 43rd Annual CMA Awards, broadcasted on Veteran’s Day, November 11.
