Rascal Flatts, Darius Rucker, and Dierks Bentley at Columbus Crew Stadium

It was a HOT night in Columbus Ohio, August 9, 2009 for a record setting, sold out crowd at the Columbus Crew stadium for Rascal Flatts!  Their new hit “Summer Nights” was the opening song set against a multi screen display of Americana images and pyrotechnics.   As Jay, Gary, and Joe Don hit the stage they were welcomed with thunderous applause.  The hometown crowd for Jay and Gary were on their feet singing along to the two hour performance featuring all of Rascal Flatts hits and a few new hits from their latest project “Unstoppable”.  The night began with a set from Darius Rucker, former Hootie and the Blowfish frontman, who along with his new hit “Alright”, did a cover of Hank Williams, Jr.’s “Family Tradition”.  Dierks Bentley followed with a steamy set beginning with his hit “Sideways” grabbing a fan’s beer and taking a drink!  Altogether it was a night of great music and entertainment with an encore with all three acts joining in with “Life is a Highway”.  If they are heading your way don’t miss this Summer Night!!
